Sims 3 Expansions - Have A Code But No Disc!

Hi all!

So recently i've been getting back into Sims, and on my new PC I reinstalled Sims 3, World Adventures, Late Night, Ambitions and Pets through Origin and also installed Generations via disc, and have no problem running those 5 expansions together.

I also have the boxes and codes for Showtime and Supernatural, but no discs, as I must have lost them years ago.

Is there any way for me to run the installation without a disc, seeing as I have the original codes i've used for years? I don't particularly want to have to re-purchase the expansions, but I am really missing Showtime as it was one of my favourite expansions! ☹️

Thanks for reading,

Grace

  • @GraceLovesSims  You can absolutely install your packs without a disc.  The codes can be added to your Origin account, if they haven't been already, and then the expansions will appear in your Origin game library the same way they would if you'd bought the packs directly through Origin.

If Origin tells you that the codes have already been used, check your library to make sure the packs aren't listed as owned.  The other possibility is that you registered them to a separate account on the old Sims 3 site (www.thesims3.com); that site and Origin share information.  In that case, you could probably have your old account merged into your new one, although any store content the old account owned would disappear.  If you'd like your accounts merged, contact EA customer support.

@puzzlezaddict Thank you so much! I hadn't actually tried adding the code to Origin itself because i'd only looked at the store and couldn't find a way to redeem the code, feel a bit silly now haha! Both downloading now, thanks again!
