Sims 3 Game Update 1.67 not working

3 times now I have hit the update button to download 1.67 update, and three times I have waited 5 hours for it to complete and then....nothing. I open up the Sims game and it prompts me to run the update all over again. I'ts possible it gives some sort of error code or message but I dont sit and stare at my lap top for 5 hours so I've never seen it, and there is never anything on the computer screen when I come check it. I've physically seen it get up to 67%. After that, I have no idea where/what the problem is. Any ideas?

Did you ever find a solution to the error message, that is what I am getting?

My computer says I am already on the current version but when I go to download my new expansion pack it says I need to update my game. I went and got the super patch for PC, which my computer is, and it says it downloaded but nothing has happened. I went into the files of my computer but i can't seem to find it. Any idea's?

What version do you see in the lower left corner of your launcher ?

Which expansion pack are you trying to install ?
