"Sims 3 has stopped working"

almost every time I play the game after Variable time the game closes it self and a window pops up and says "Sims 3 has stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windo...

Have you tried to re-install the game? Do you have any DLC installed?

    Haven't tried it yet but I installed the game on a new computer when I first got it and it happened to me from the beginning. And I only have DLC from the store in the game. What do you suggest?

        I am having the same issue and sometimes getting a "Low memory error" 

        My operating system is Windows 8.1 (64 Bit)

        I usually only get to play about 5-10 minutes if I am lucky

        I have Sims 3, Sims 3: Late Night, Sims 3: Ambitions, Sims 3: World Adventures, Sims: Generations, Sims 3: Supernatural, Sims 3: University, Sims 3: Showtime, Sims 3: Island Paradise, Sims 3: Seasons, Sims 3: Pets, Sims 3: High End Loft, and Sims 3: Master Suites

      i go on to oragin click sims 3 icon and it wont let me on play is gray normally its orange yesterday i played fine what do i do

        you probably already have the game running but you don't know it. do this, ctrl alt delete, task manager, then look for the sims 3 launcher(32bit) and then highlight it and click end task.
