indycutie What world is this in, and does it happen in Sunset Valley? For the lots where this happens, did they previously have other builds, or a pond, or anything else aside from the current house? Is the house built on any kind of foundation or stilts? Are you currently using mods, and if so, which ones? I know you weren't, but it's been a while and worth asking again.
If you'd like, I can take a look at your save as well. Upload the save folder (in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Saves, but only the one save please, not everything) to a third-party filesharing site, and either post the link here or send it to me via PM.
