@puzzlezaddict Okay, so it was set on 1024x480 resolution in full screen mode. I changed it to 1600x900 as u suggested, it made everything very small. In the end I played the same family again and when they went to the movies( from Map View)and came home I tried to send them to watch TV, and again... no interactions available. I even went to 2 other families and received the same results. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the EA app? Cause it's still not working right. And rotating the camera isn't making this happen😥😥😥
@indycutie Again, I was not suggesting that rotating the camera was causing the problem. I was asking if rotating the camera changed the result you were already seeing. So please let me know either way.
There's no reason to uninstall and reinstall the game. Instead, if restarting the game after changing the resolution doesn't help, and please test that first, move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Load the game to the Main Menu, change the resolution to 1600x900, quit, reload, and see whether this happens in a new save.
If the new save is fine, copy your existing save to the new folder, but nothing else yet, and test it too.
- @puzzlezaddict For the past few days I created a new game in another town. Finished it and moved families from Library, into the new town. This took a while, but so far no issues are occurring. I also deleted the saved games that were acting up. Hopefully this will help and no problems occur. Will keep ya posted😊!!!
today is 3 years later and this problem has returned after I hadn't played for over 6 months, even though I read thru this old post I sent before I can't remember how the issue got resolved. Can you please help me again? today is 10/17/25, Thank you
