if your sim owns the resort he/she can just stay there as long as they want and or go to the home lot in the world you are playing in . do you have a front desk on the lot and click on it to hire workers/clerks also in the world you are in did is the lot type set to resort ? and own the lot ?
B there was/is a bug in IP if a self employed sim checks in it didnt seem to work and or glitched the way to check in was to have an unemployed sim with you and have him/her check everyone in

Thanks rum I thought maybe it was a routing issue with the resorts!!!
