@Cornxelie Did you go to the Intel site? Google Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 graphics drivers and download and run the driver installer. You are right - Windows 10 is at the right version - the Creators update. Do you have the Windows 10 Pro Education version?

Yes , i directly went to the intel websites and have just decided to uninstall the whole sims game considering I only have a 1.60 hz of processor. Since it’s a brand new laptop I can just return it for a stronger laptop.

@Cornxelie The I5-8250U has a turbo speed of up to 3.4Ghz but I would prefer an idle speed to be at least equal to the minimum (2.4Ghz) required for the software I'm running. The video system is used hard also. It would be nice to get a dedicated video processor (chip). With video resolutions continue to increase and VR starting to gain in popularity, a strong gaming computer would a good investment.
- 8 years agoUpdate. So my laptop automatically updated to windows creator update and I started playing the sims 4 which worked just fine so I thought that I would try again with sims 3 and suddenly it works without minimizing. I also had all my settings to low and I’m going to try to see how it would work with 2 more expansions installed.
