Sims 3 login issues

Last week I started having issues logging into the Sims 3 Launcher. It kept saying I had the wrong e-mail or password. So I clicked on the "Forgot Password" changed my password through the site and went back to the launcher. Still I was unable to login. I tried a few times and eventually just gave up and went about playing my game without logging in. This week I am still having the issue and realized that I am also unable to login to the Sims 3 EA site. I am however able to login to the Origin website so I'm really confused. Anyone have any tips on how to work this out?

    the accounts are connected the sims 3 account uses the same email and password as your origin if you change the password in origin   that's the password to use for the sims 3 account so try the origin email and password

    I know it is linked to the origin email and I changed the login there. I can login in in to origin and on the Sims 3 website, but not into the game for purposes of tracking awards or chatting with friends.

    I have been using the same email and password that I have for Origin on the sims3 site and launcher and still not having any luck.

    Okay so now I can login to the site, but not on the launcher. It acts like it's logging me in, but doesn't.
