Sims 3 Monte Vista Will Not Upload

Hello. I am having the same problem. I just bought the game at Walmart and tried to load it but it's doing exactly what yours is doing. Hopefully we'll get an answer on the problem or how to fix it or I'm taking the game back.

Me too. Im hoping that it's just the certain game, but by the sounds of it, it's not. ☹️

Maybe there is a number to call?

I have this problem with both Monte Vista AND Hidden Springs.

Both show in the Launcher that they are downloaded, but neither show up in game. My launcher shows I've "installed" them four times each.

Getting frustrated!

In addition to having the same problem as OP, I tried registering the code from the book online to see if I could download it from the Store.  It claims it was successfully registered, but it won't let me download it from the store.  In Firefox, the space where it would be is a blank space with 1/24/13 and the normal download link underneath but now nothing from the store will download.  I've tried Chrome and IE as well, to no avail.  I cannot download MV or any other previously purchased Store items anymore.  I've tried completely clearing the cache of all three browsers, and nothing.  I've tried manually moving the SimPack file from the disc to the appropriate location to try and install it from the Launcher, but it constantly says that I don't have the proper version installed.  I'm "Up to date" according to the Launcher, running v16.0.136.020017.

Any help?

I have found no number to call and I get no answers on here so I"m going to try and take the game back. I don't know why them can't make them to download like all the other expansion packs. I'm beyond frustrated!! I may even go back to playing the Sims2!!  Good luck people.

I have the same problem with not being able to get Monte Vista or Hidden Springs to load. Incidentally I also bought at least one of them from Walmart, but I'm pretty sure we would have heard if Walmart got a bad batch of videogame discs.      

I'm pretty sure that part of the problem is that they are worlds as opposed to EP's or stuff packs. The reason I say that is I had Supernatural, Seasons, Town life stuff and High end loft stuff that loaded ok on the same day as the others and without any PC changes in between. Only the two worlds did not load properly. 

I checked to see if they showed up in the launcher as downloaded content where I I have Barnacle Bay and Riverview. Those two work in game but they were bought a long time ago. FYI, I bought Barnacle Bay as a store bought disc and it is in my game just fine and Riverview is an online download .So that means that the game is obtained is probably not the issue.

 I wonder if anyone else that is trying to load these worlds has forgotten to take out their custom content like I did. I'm going to try that next.

I forgot to add that they do not show up in the launcher and they also do  not show up in the "Installed Worlds" folder in my game. To me, that means that they failed to load entirely.

Also, FYI, like others, on here I was never prompted to put in my code in order to load the game. It just skipped to the your game has installed screen. 

Ok mine are working. I took out the whole mods/Packages and Downloads folders. This should always be done< should have known better. Anyway, try that.

I installed this for my daughter and had the same thing happen with this one and Hidden Springs.  These two you really have to jump through hoops to be able to get them loaded.  You have to redeem the code at http://www.thesims3.com/  once you log into the site. If you notice the code for the game is not long enough for a typical game.  Redeeming the code once you log in will show you have purchased the game.  I then downloaded the games and was able to get them installed for use.  Just make sure the sims 3 loader is up to date and it should work for you.
