Sims 3: Network Error: Connection to Server has been Lost

Today I have not been able to login when in the Sims 3 game. I receive a network error saying that my connection to the server has been lost. My internet is working properly. I am able to login fine on the EA site as well as the Sims 3 launcher fine. I have also tried resetting my internet options in internet explorer as well as turning off the firewall. Additionally I have tried to restart my computer and game several times. I have not downloaded any custom content for several months either. I was hoping you could figure out why I keep getting this error and how to fix it. Thanks.

You are not alone. It must be wide spread problem. Hope they fix it!!

Glad it's not just me. Guessing it is an issue with EA's servers then. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

Are they still having problems ? Because it's doing that to me a lot lately. Last one 15 min ago.

Same has been happening to me for the last couple of days. I thought maybe it had to do with my new digital purchase of generations, but I can't be sure. Sometimes my game also freezes during the load screen and I have to continuously restart the game until it works.

I have also been having this problem on and off since installing the latest expansion.

Same issue here. It logs me in at the launcher window, but as soon as I get into game, it logs me out with a Network Error. Then it says I have to download the latest patch, but when I go to update it says I am updated. I haven't been able to log into this game in a few months now, but between all the other EA games I've played, it's not surprising 😕mileysad:

I don't know why they had to go with ORIGIN, instead of STEAM. BIG MISTAKE. Probably why there's so many problems with most of my games crashing & such.😕mileysad:

*Are* they fixing it?! I've had this problem for *months* now. And because I've got a new PC I can't download any of my purchased content, either. It's driving me crazy. Does anyone know what progress EA/Origin is making with this problem? Anyone?
