Sims 3 overheating my computer

Hi people in the forum with heating problems anno 2022. it is true that changeing to "balanced" power option, will do something for your heating while playing "the sims 3" but another fix is to limit you FPS via your Nvidia Controlpanel, you do this by going to the nvidia controlpanel -> 3D settings -> administer 3D settings -> program settings -> choose TS3.exe in the scroll down menu, find max refresh speed and set it to your monitors standard, there should also be a option to enable vsync in Nvidia controlpanel, both for programs individiualy and everything at once.  

hope this helps someone who don't want their PC breaking because of heating 🙂
