You're graphic chip is below specs. You need at least 128 MB of dedicated memory, you only have 0 MB. Your CPU is also below specs and your graphic drivers very outdated.
Try lowering your graphic settings and turn off mirror reflections and update your graphic drivers.
Not sure if you can then play but it's worth a try.
i tried making another family on sims 3 and another problem has occurred, when i get to the option 'move in household', 'create sims' or 'choose household' whatever i try and do when it comes up where you can select the tick or the arrow back, i click the tick and the tick and arrow freeze, it never loads but everything else isnt frozen it still works as if i havent selected a household yet and i can Quit, Edit World and stuff but cannot play now, this has all started happening ever since i got pets, or is it just because my laptop is old, i might be getting a new one for xmas would that solve my issue?
A newer computer should run the game better. I can't guarantuee that it will get rid of all of your issues.
If you do buy a new one, make sure it has a proper graphic card and not just a chip.
