Sims 3 pets i can't find my registration code in steam

So I download a bundle of Sims 3 plus pets and after I got expansion packs I couldn't see my registration code . I can only see my expansion packs registration codes but I cannot find my pets code. I looked everywhere on Google and I tried everything but I can't find it can someone help me.

    @csyntichakis  I'm actually not sure whether the CD key will show up in your computer's registry, but please look there.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "regedit" without quotes.  Expand these folders, in order:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > WOW6432Node > Electronic Arts > Sims(Steam) > The Sims 3

    Click on the "ergc" folder, and under "Data," you might see a 20-character code, which would be the CD key for the base game.  That's at least where the code would have been before Steam stopped showing the base game CD keys as well as keys for packs bought with the base game.

    If this doesn't work, please let me know, and I'll flag this issue to see whether there's anything else you can do about it.

    @sbella033  Launch the game once and look again.  If you still don't see "ergc," please post a screenshot of what you do see.

    Guys the key of base game+pets is visible at the "CD Key" section in the game library now. You don't need the ergc method anymore 🙂

    @puzzlezaddict I see now ergc now but when I press it all i see is (default) inside the folder. Also sims is only showing my sims 3 game , so I have to click Electronic Arts - EA Games - Sims 2 double deluxe , and the it shows ergc

    @sbella033  Are you playing Sims 3 through Steam?  If so, please check your Steam library for a base game CD key: others have reported that the keys are showing again.

    @sbella033  This thread has nothing to do with Sims 2; it's for people who own Sims 3 in Steam.  There's no way to register Sims 2 in Origin now, and that's been the case for over three years now.  So if you don't already own the game in Origin, the only way to play is through your discs.
