Im having the same problem. All of my pets just show up black. But everything else has color. I just bought this laptop a month ago.
It's more of a netbook so it's below specs too. Just because you bought it new, doesn't mean it fulfilled the specs.
Pets is rater demanding on the graphics.

But when i very first used it it worked fine. The pets showed up individually and all there color was there

I just got Sims pets yesterday and downloaded it today but all the pets are black as well. If there is any possible way to fix this that would be great.
