Hi I know this is a known issue and I've seen a couple threads on it (see: Redeemed Sims 3 codes but wont download as says only available on windows? | EA Forums - 11143008 ) and on these threads the users have been helped. 

However, they all say the solution is that the 64-bit expansions are not available on the user's account and that they would need to reach out to EA support.

I have reached out and contacted EA several times regarding this issue and I am grateful that they have all been so patient with me, however I keep getting the same answer - which is that I should contact the company where I bought the packs (in which I got the packs from a code on a CD so that would not be possible) and that it is out of their power and that they cannot help me at all, despite me linking the thread above and explaining my situation.

I can confirm that the packs do work on windows but I also want to play them on my macbook! This is my last-ditch attempt and if anyone can assist me urgently and help me find a solution I would be very grateful. I want to access the content that I have paid for.

    Sorry to say, but I'm afraid you'll need to continue contacting live support for assistance with this, as we can't grant 64-bit versions here on the forums. I've merged your post with the main thread for this topic in the meantime.
