Sims 3 Script Error and Game Crashing

Question

Since I first bought the game, it hasn't worked. I purchased Sims 3 plus University Life through Steam. I get three different script errors upon launch, and my game crashes within a few minutes of starting it up. I've tried adding it to the DEP list, made sure my IE Network was up to date, cleared my cache, tried using the SuperPatcher, &nbsp;nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know how to solve this?

What's your operating system?
Does the launcher start?
Are you getting any error messages?
How far do you get, try to describe what happens in as much details as possible (without getting too lenghty)
Do all installed games show up in the Origin client?

Which Security Software are you using (Firewall, Antivirus)?
Do you have the disc or download version or a mix?
Do you have any files with xctp in your documents\electronicarts	hesims3\ folder ? (those are crash logs)?
