Sims 3 Script error windows 11

I downloaded the Sims 3, intially it would crash at game menu but I managed to get it open. Now however when I open the game menu it has a script error and I can't launch the game without it crashing. I am using Windows 11, how can I fix this problem?

@emelly16 Can you play with your computer offline? You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play. This is just a diagnostic test, not a long-term fix. If it helps, try keeping your computer online but putting the EA App in offine mode.
