Sims 3 Seasons won't install fully or show up in game

I owned Sims 3 seasons on disc so i installed it but realized it would not work with sims 3 downloaded through the EA app so I deleted the folder. I then bought Sims 3 seasons through the EA app but ...

how do I do this? I cleared my cookies from microsoft edge but don't see info on internet explorer.

Also there is no sims 3 folder inside of my documents
