Sims 3 show time missing balancing ball

I recently downloaded sims 3 show time and was playing gigs but recently my acrobat loaded the stage and the balancing ball was gone and got a message saying "some of your inventory is missing" how do I get it back? Even in my family inventory it says that its there just when I try to place it, it doesn't allow me to.

Anyone know how to get it back?
