  • @BlueWolfAdam24I am afraid you might be confusing two totally different things just a bit.

Lifetime Happiness Points are points that our sims (not us) earn in-game at any time for having elevated moods (being content), fulfilling promised wishes, and for huge bonuses that can be as high as 30,000 for fulfilling their one Lifetime Wish. The interactive hidden object game at startup, which many of us keep switched off because it elevates RAM usage and can actually extend the game's startup time, feeds into that total per sim. If one of your sims is stuck at 4 or any other value for happiness points, then probably they aren't in happy enough moods, they aren't fulfilling promised wishes, or something is "stuck" with that sim. There is no real life value to these points and in fact they can be granted by way of cheat codes and mods pretty easily.

Store points are currency that can be spent on digital merchandise on the The Sims 3 Store. They can be purchased for cash (credit card) by way of Origin and sometimes some purchases like Gold Edition worlds do come with store point bonuses that can then be spent on whatever you like. There is no way to earn store points in-game or cheat them, they are actually treated like real money. There is a way to spend them at the store in-game, but so many of us find that feature so annoying that we keep it switched off also. Your store point balance is a function of your store account, not the computer on which you are playing or which saved game you might be running. If it's your store account points that seem to be stuck at 4 when you have purchased more or have redeemed a special offer for some, then that is either a store account issue that only EA customer support can help with or you somehow now have more than one store account.

  • @BlueWolfAdam24  I haven't bought this particular bundle, so I don't know for sure how it works.  But did you receive more than one code with your purchase?  Sometimes the world can have one code, and there's a second for other bonus content.  So check the confirmation email again to see whether there's a second code buried somewhere.

If that's not how it worked, and the points were supposed to be granted automatically when you purchased DV, then check the store page for a Redeem SimPoints button.  It's been a while for me, but I remember it being on the left side of the page when I was signed into the store, and I think it was blue.  If you click that, any points you're owed are supposed to be added to your account.  This is how it works when you register the base game or World Adventures, so it might work for DV too.

If neither of these helps, you'll need to contact EA customer support for help.

You're not supposed to get SimPoints for the interactive loading screen game though.  The points you earn from that are lifetime happiness points for your sims; you should get a message that they've been granted to your sim, or equally distributed among the household sims, when the save finishes loading.  This is the way it's always worked.

I don't know how many points you had before, but is it possible you're using a different account than you were when you had lots of points a few years ago?  If so, the points would be on that old account, not your new one.

  • Have you solved this problem? I am planning to purchase gold edition RH, and I'm afraid of not getting sims points I should have deserved…

@RandomTokenCode  There's currently an issue with Roaring Heights that makes it difficult if not impossible (I'm not sure which) to actually add the world to your account.  The safest approach would be to buy a new, sealed physical copy somewhere and—this is critical—register the product code on the old Sims 3 site, not in Origin.  That's the old way, and it should still work fine.

If you do buy RH through Origin, you'd still want to register the product code on the old Sims 3 site, but I've seen multiple reports that it doesn't work properly now.  In that case, just be sure to test it right away and contact EA customer support immediately if you run into trouble.  You should in that case be able to get a refund, so all you'd lose is a bit of time.  The issue isn't the points but the world itself; if you did happen to get the world but not the points, a support rep could add them to your account easily enough.
