Sims 3 stuck on 2nd loading screen

So I download Sims 3 the other day and when I tried to create and play in a world I got stuck at 75% on the second loading screen. I tried multiple times to get into a world and It didn’t work. After...

    @austinluppo  Try reducing all the in-game graphics settings to the minimum.  Do so at the Main Menu, then quit to desktop before loading a save.  Try it with Advanced Rendering both off and on, and while in fullscreen and windowed mode, just to cover all options.

    If none of this works, there might not be a good solution right now.  I'd suggest installing the new version of Big Sur (11.2 rather than 11.1), which was released a few days ago.  (You can see the version you're running by clicking the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen and selecting About This Mac.)  There's no guarantee this will help, but it's possible.

Hello, sorry for replying so late. I have tried what you said and I got the same results. Today I got on the phone with EA and I was left with no answers. Any other suggestions?

@austinluppo  Are you still having trouble loading a new save at all, or are you loading a save and getting the same flickering and/or graphics glitches?  If it's the latter, please post a couple of screenshots of what you see; there are two other players with similar hardware and the same operating system and what might be similar graphics issues.  So it would be useful to document the problem, at least.  Whether something will come of it or not, I really don't know.

    I only get flickering on my new saves, but on old saves I will play for a few minutes then it will freeze.

    @puzzlezaddict Thank you so much! I lowered my graphic settings and my game works perfectly fine!
