Sims 3 Supernatural not working

I bought and downloaded Sims 3 Supernatural but when i opened up the game to go make a new character the button to make a Supernatural character wasn't there. So, therefore it isn't working. I've checked more than once if it was downloaded and it says it is. So, i don't know what the issue is.
