@cathyyphan Do you get the same error whether you bypass the launcher or not? Have you installed any new content recently, or updated your Mac? If you have any antivirus/firewall running, please disable it temporarily; if you have any cleaner apps on your Mac, please let me know, and get rid of them.
Please also try launching while your computer isn't connected to the internet, as in, disable the wifi entirely.

@puzzlezaddictI have bypassed the launcher before this whole problem happened and I have not updated my Mac but I did download some content but I don’t think they are the problem they seem to be doing fine but I was thinking I’d I could download like a cleaner for the content but idk any for Mac any suggestions is good 🙂
but this is also kinda off topic but now my game every time I start launching it I just have a black screen and my cursor and idk what’s going on

@cathyyphan Please move the entire Sims 3 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you open the launcher (please undo the bypass for now), a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can load a new save.
Please don't install a cleaner app. Most of them do more harm than good in macOS—they have a tendency to delete essential system files along with everything else.
