Sims 3 University Life Mac Download

So yesterday I pre-ordered the sims 3 University Life, I had previously purchased the sims 3 seasons and the download from origin to mac was totally fine. Then I pre-order the sims 3 University, and it says it's WINDOWS ONLY, even though the site and everything said MAC/PC!!!!!! What is going on?!?! Did I just get cheated out of my money?!
