So the game loaded the home town after you deleted the Sim that way (which is usually a really dangerous thing to do) ?
Could you maybe post step-by-step instructions what you did. That would be great.
That did not work for me. I figured out how to get my sim to the blank lot by adding a chair and telling him to sit in it. After deleting the sim, I still could not figure out how to get back to the game. Luckily I did save game before graduation.
That doesn't seem to work for me either. Can't delete the sim. And I saved the game after graduation so he's stuck.
Hello! I recently reinstalled the game and had the same issue. Since I didn't save the game recently before their graduation and I didn't have a backup, I thought I was screwed. Instead of loosing at least six hours of game, I just lost 3. For those who still need assistance today 🙂
