i recently tried to download a new world on the sims 3 but it says i need version :1.5.0.015000 which i dont have. it also says it is free to update my game to this version but does anyone know how i update it. my game is also telling me that no updates are currently avaliable. help!!
What is your base game version right now ?
To find out, open your launcher and hover over the little base game icon in the lower left part of the launcher. It should say 1.42.

1.5 = 1.05 < 1.42
You're version is newer then the required one and you're up-to-date
Question: Do you mean the 1.5 it says on the webpage or have you actually tried downloading ? The webpage does not check what version you have installed. It's just an info what you need.
