Hi Everyone,
I spoke with several tech agents yesterday through the online support. The last tech rep said that the Sims 3 support team is aware of the 'login loop' issue with the website and are looking into it as well as doing a major upgrade to the page. It may take some time for them to get things worked out but at least in the meantime most are still able to play the game. Until then I would suggest saving CAS creations and lots to the game bins until they are able to be shared.
For those of you who don't have all of the worlds, many of them are available in the EA app so the new purchases can be added that way. Since I own all of the worlds, the access codes for them won't work in EA so will have to wait until the website is fixed to get the rest of my store items and worlds for future use in game.
So far although I'm not able to sign into the website or the game launcher, the game logs me in once the game loads.
Until these issues are fixed as well as those for Sims 4 players I hope you all still have fun with your sims and have a wonderful Holiday Season!
Unfortunately, that's not good for those of us who already own the worlds via the store. We can't access our store accounts.

Yes, I know it's frustrating not being able to add anything more to our games from the store at the moment but at least the game still works with what has already been installed before the site went down. EA is aware of the issue and are looking into it as well as updating the whole site. If you have the 'keep my signed in' option saved in the game options, it should sign players into their games after it loads even though the launcher says that the EA and Sims 3 accounts are not connected but I think that's just because the Sims 3 site cannot be accessed right now. Some things might work off and on as it took several days for me to be able to accept a friend request from Sims 3 that finally came through in game.
Hope you and still have fun playing in he meantime.
