Sims 3 website is down?

I think they are working on it.  Not able to sign in but can navigate the Sims 3 site and access the Exchange.  Shouldn't be too much longer for full access.

I cant even log in to the Sims community site.  When i am able to it goes to the next screen and says bad gateway and when I look up that code it states there are server issues, but this has been going on now for over a week. 

It has nothing to do with memory posts. I have an old account that I do not have any friends on and I cannot sign in on that one, I get the 502 error. If it was memory posts it would not happen on that account as there is no one to post memories. 

A 502 Bad Gateway error usually means that one server received an invalid response from another server.
The website’s back end isn’t communicating correctly. 
Server-side issue. 
Website’s server is overloaded
The site’s hosting provider may be having outages.

Fruity beat me to it but the for the memory posts it just happens in a way with certain languages that appear on the walls. It's not easy to find the right cause for breaking the pages but I think certain languages for some reason are no longer supporting certain wording like this certain letter (é) They get a ? with a black background in the post on people's pages and sometimes it looks like it breaks peoples walls myself included. Sorry it took me time to respond. I was sleeping and my time zone is GMT and I've been today but I got there to respond. I haven't posted any memories in a long time due to my game performing better while I'm not logged in but I do have people on my list who do and it does seem to effect my page. The 502 error like fruity says is not caused by memories and most people can't get on the site and log in. The Blank pages on my wall for me seems to be from memories and it might be a language issue from people who are in a non English country. Hope that helps. Again sorry for my late response. The site no longer generates a 502 Bad Gateway error.  When trying to login the server side process doesn't complete, and the login button is displayed again.

For the record I have no German friends creating memories. None of them can get on the site.  I do not get 502 on this account, just blank walls. This is also a server issue.

Thanks for all the reports on this so far- we're currently investigating this issue, I'll share updates on this here as I receive them. 

If the servers do not get fixed we wont have a site any longer.   It is a server issue that affects memories, not memories that affect the server. 

That makes sense as well :) Thanks. I'm not that good with all the server tec stuff so that Info will really help. What ever is going on I'm sure what they can do will really help. Even if the site has to have some down time to fix it.
