Sims 3 white blank screen
Whenever I click on the sims 3 play button, it will open but a blank screen would appear. Below is a screenshot. I have to force to quit it all the time, I don’t know what could be causing this. Does...
I also noticed that when I tried logging in (Member login) it kept telling me that the email & password was invalid which is not true because I can login everywhere else. I searched it up and a lot of ppl were saying to clear the IE cache? But I don't use internet explorer and I can't install it because I have a mac.
@elimaximoff What world are you playing in, and what packs do you have installed? How long did you play, and did it ever stop lagging?
Please also list the specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.
As for signing in, one common reason it doesn't work is if you have a special character in your password, like an & or !. But it wouldn't cause the other game issues.
I'm only playing on sunset valley for right now, and the game usually lasts 5 minutes because it freezes and I have to force quit. I have Seasons, Generations, Island Paradise, Supernatural, Pets, World Adventures, Late night, and Showtime installed for now. Also, my password does not have any special characters only numbers.

@elimaximoff The Pets expansion in particular often runs very poorly on hardware like yours. It would be a useful test to try to play without Pets installed; you can simply remove its folder, and the pack won't load. Open either Applications or Users > your username > Applications, and you'll see a "The Sims 3 Packs" folder. Move the EP05 folder inside (Pets is expansion pack 5) to the desktop, load a new save in Sunset Valley, and let me know how it runs.
By the way, if the above doesn't help and you're not still playing in minimum graphics settings, please at least lower lighting and tree detail to the minimum; those settings can also be a problem on certain Intel chips.
For the login issue, try clearing Safari's data. First, click History in the upper left corner, then choose "all history" and press Clear. Then click Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data and click "Remove All." This will also remove any active logins that aren't managed by Keychain, so make sure you have the passwords you need beforehand.
Okay I solved the first problem by lowering the graphics?? But now I'm just having problems with the member log in, I tried what you told me about clearing the history and going to preferences but that still didn't work ☹️
