I had installed the Sims 3 to Pets on windows 7 on my old computer I now have a new computer with windows 8 Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 I am having a hard time running the game it crashes and when it does work the graphics don't work.
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 is only equivalent to GeForce 620/630. While it may play the base game, the integrated video processors (the 4600 is integrated with Haswell cpus) sometimes (most of the time) have trouble with some packs and PETS is one of those packs. While integrated graphics have been improving, they still are no match for a dedicated graphics chip with dedicated memory. The 4600 will only produce satisfactory fps when the game is set to low to medium settings. Have you upgraded your computer to Windows 8.1? What is the name and model of your computer?
