This is very simple and may not be the issue, but it used to happen a long time ago to me with the sims 4. Have you tried removing your CC if you have any? You can create a "safe" folder on your desktop and slowly move some of your CC in that folder to see if it runs. Then you should slowly figure out the "problem" file.
I did this so many years back, and it helped. I also had no error screen or anything, it just crashed. If this pertains to you, I hope this helps!
