Sims 3 won't launch due to Origin error

I recently tried to re-install my old Sims 3 base game + 10 EP's from their original discs. The install worked, but trying to launch the game came up with this error

I tried to contact support, who suggested I unintall and re-install the games directly through the EA app with no disc. I used the serial codes to get all the games onto my EA app and re-installed them through there, but pressing Play still re-directs me to the Sims 3 Game Launcher with the same origin error message.

As far as I understand, installing origin is no longer an option on Windows 11, so what else can I do?

I've tried to repair the games as well with no success

Anyway, you'll want to do a clean uninstall of Sims 3, and the EA App for good measure, and Origin if it's somehow still on your computer.  Use Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), as described here:

Reinstall the game through the EA App and see whether it works.

Thanks for your help. I have unisntalled the games and the EA app and re-installed the EA app.

Now I have a different problem where only the base game and 1 EP are showing up in my library. If I try and redeem the codes of the other EP's I own, I can't redeem them because it says they've already been redeemed. So how can I get them into my library??
