Sims 3 won't launch
I played the game a couple of years ago and haven't played since. Now it won't launch. I click on play in the EA app, it opens the launcher, when i click play... nothing. I tried running the exe file...

tiffannnyy One common reason the Sims 3 launcher doesn't even open is an issue with .NET Framework 3.5, which the game and launcher use. I explained how to uninstall and reinstall it in another recent post:

If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Hi thank you for your reply! I tried reinstalling the .NET Framework, but that didn't work. This is the dxdiag file
