Sims 3 won't let me redeem a code I just bought

I just purchased the gold edition for the Dragon Valley, spent a whopping $35 on it. It gave me a code and told me to go to My Account, and click Redeem A Code. I did, and I entered the 16 digit code...

    We have made some more changes and you should be able to redeem your codes now. Could you please try again?

Just bought dragon Valley and when i try to redeem it it just loads and then stops and makes me select the tick for privacy? What is happening i guess ill have to dispute the payment.
