I use the EA App and run Sims 4 ok. But I decided to have a walk down memory lane and play Sims 3 again. It gets as far as the 'welcome' screen but when I press the play button it just disappears and the game does not start. I have Windows 11 and a high spec laptop. I lowered my screen resolution in case that was the problem but it didn't help. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

Otherwise, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the camera (Insert Media) icon included with the other formatting options.
