sims 3 wont update network error now also closes down with out notice

i have installed uninstalled both origin and my game and it does the same thing each time what the heck its gonna drive me nuts i have had the game for awhile so its not new but i had no problems then all of a sudden they just showed up i open the launcher and it says i have a network error cant connect to ea downlaod manager i sign in and it still wont let me i manually downloaded new update and now the launcher closes down with out notice help!!!!!!!!!!! please.......
