Go to Documents > Electronic Arts and move your Sims 3 folder out onto your desktop. Now try loading the game. Does it work?
- Approved@Bluebellflora I did what you said, and it didn't work. The only thing it did was remove all my custom content. The same thing happened when I tried to play. Thanks for trying to help, though.
It will create a new folder so the game is like new again. If the game then launches it means the error is in your user data somewhere. Have you installed any new mods recently that may have changed core game files and caused this?
