sims 3 world adventure won't load world
In my Bridgeport save file, I keep trying to travel to France, the green bar will load 95% but won't go past that and just stays on the loading screen. The music stops, but the clicking item game keeps going so it's still responding but won't finish loading no matter how long I wait.
I don't understand what happened or how to fix this. I even started a new save file in Sunset Valley with a current household with only one sim but it still does the same thing.
I don't know how to fix this, all of the answers online about this didn't help or were confusing, does anyone know what to do?
@Hirity Please try traveling in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save, pick a random premade household, and see whether they can travel to France.
If you have the same issue, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If the sims make it to France successfully, let the game clock run for a sim-day or so and send them home. If that works too, you can copy your save from the old folder to the new one; saves are in the Saves folder, naturally, and each save has a folder labeled with its name and a .sims3 extension. Don't add anything else yet, unless your sims live in a Store or custom world, in which case install that world and nothing else. Let me know whether your sims can travel.
