You get the option in the home town too. I can't tell you where it is but there should be a menu room mates on your Sim.
Will certainly look for it, cause it is very annoying, but thanks for the suggestion, fingers crossed it does work. 🙂
I have just been onto the sims 3 again, but I still cant find the option, and they are still sqauting in my sims house.
