Sims spouse died, no remains anywhere, still married
Hello!
My Sim's vampiric husband randomly died while I was logged out (logged out and he was happily drinking plasma juice at the table, logged back in and I had a random message his car was sold due to Sim death). No grave ever appeared, no ashes anywhere (he was indoors). I've checked the cemetery and his remains aren't there or in the mausoleum. When my sim travels, he's still appearing as a potential travel companion. On her first travels after his passing, he still popped up for the trip. Subsequent travels he no longer appears (although he still shows up on the "Travel With" option, but blank). I've attempted resetting the Sim in both travel areas and at home, but to no avail. My current live sim is still married though, so she continues to get the Naughty and Cheater reps.
I even attempted to move out of the current town she is in to solve this, which is currently Moonlight Falls. However, when I get to editing towns (I have no idea how I got there), it seems to think the Asian-inspired travel destination is home? Also, I had about 50k saved and a house worth 134k but it says my household funds are only 16.5k to move?
Honestly, my sim would just like her husband back! But if that's not an option, are there any other ways to break the relationship when I can't find the ghost or remains ANYWHERE?
