Hello!
I have built a house in The Sims 3, but my Sims won't pass through any doors. I tried replacing them, deleting everything near them, but the only thing that worked was destroying the wall. My Sims complain about the door itself, as if it was the problem for them not passing through.
How should I proceed now? I really loved the house I built and don't want to lose all my time and effort ☹️
@blacerdamuller Is the issue about one single location where you've been placing different doors? It's possible there's something nearby, whether on the ground or a wall, that's blocking their passage. Try moving everything within four squares of the door, even the items attached to a wall, like a hanging plant. If this works, you can put items back until you notice the problem again.
If this doesn't help, try saving the house to the library, bulldozing the lot, and putting the saved copy in its place. You'll need to evict your sims, or move them elsewhere, first, but if you don't like the results of this, just quit without saving. The point is to see whether the sims can move around the freshly placed copy without issues.
