@Chezshire101 I'm not sure why this happened or whether the save is corrupted in a way that can't be fixed. But for now, since you use mods, there's a simple way to at least try to repair the damage. Please install NRaas ErrorTrap, Overwatch, and MasterController, plus the MC Cheats add-on; you can find links and descriptions here:
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Sims-3-Common-Game-Fixing-Mods-Hero-Approved/m-p/9838855#M244208
While you're there, install NRaas Hybrid too, in the next post. This mod is nominally to allow for sims with multiple occult states, but it makes occult states more stable in general.
Before playing, delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 user folder:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
Load the save, let the game clock run for a few sim-minutes, then click on City Hall and select:
NRaas > MC > Town Options > Reset Everything
This may take a few minutes to run, depending on the speed of your computer. When it's done, let the game clock run for a few more sim-minutes, use "save as" to rename the save (so the original remains intact as a backup), quit, and delete the five cache files again. Then reload the game, click on one sim that has problems with their occult state, for example a vampire that looks like a normal human, and select:
NRaas > MC > Intermediate > Occult: Remove
Remove the occult state that is no longer showing properly. Repeat for each affected sim in the save. Then run another MC reset, quit, and delete the cache files again.
When you reload the save, use the Occult: Add command, in the same location, to add back the occult states to the affected sims. Let me know whether the states work now.
It would be best to leave your non-NRaas mods out of the game for now, at least until you figure out whether the save is working properly. Other NRaas mods are fine to use.
