My sims 3 constantly ctd without even a single error message when I am playing on my new PC(14700kf 32G ram 4080S) I have use the elderlake patch and use the win7 mode,but the game always crashes without any sign. I cap it at 180 fps too. please help!
@puzzlezaddict It is really weird that the game fix itself after I remove the sim3 document folder the 2nd time. The first time I delete it,nothing changes,but the second time that i delete it and redownload all the shop items------it is just fixed. Really thanks you for your patience and good advice,I can never fix it myself without them. Thanks again!
@maxlaton I'm glad that worked, but not sure why. It could be a OneDrive thing, in that OneDrive synced some problematic files and redownloaded them the first time, but not the second. It's hard to prove after the fact though.
Still, the important thing is that your game is working now. Let me know if you need any further help, or if OneDrive becomes enough of a nuisance that you want to get rid of it.
