Sims3 Serial Code

I recently purchased the Sims3 Ambitions online for my PC. I want to register on the Sims.com but it says I need a serial code. I'm not sure if the game came with one because its for PC and was purchased online. Can you help me find my serial code? All I have is the product code. -Thank You
