Okay, if this can help figure out exactly what the problem is, I have two base games, and I feel like one of them disappeared along with the expansion packs..
The one that is installed on my Origin right now is the one I got AFTER the first one, and came with the pack with both Island Paradise and The Sims 3, and the installation code matches the second one and not my original. My other base game disc is lost, although I have the code, but is sadly the one with all of my expansion packs downloaded.
