Strange mail stuck in Inventory

Me too, but I also have all this junk in my family inventory that I didn't buy . I don't have the bills issue though.

Yeah, it's a bug.

Have you guys been traveling (still trying to find out what triggers the omni plant part of the bug) ?

I have the same issues with the mail in the inventory and the Omniplant (looks like a gift box) in my inventory. This is with a sim that had no gardening skill and has never traveled.

I also have the bills and Omni plant that looks like a gift box,and I can't do anything with them either.  But now my sims phone rings all the time and I can't answer it I can still call other sims and text with it.  Now I can't save my game it just keeps saving and never returns to the game I even tried using the save as but it still won't return to actual game I have to control,alt,delete to get to my desk top to shut down my computer and I am very frustrated I do not want to have to start all over again and the only traveling my sims did was to the university and back home.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

This is a known mail box glitch and it seems the ONLY way to fix it at all is to use a mod.  Since I never use mods, even the really great ones Twallen makes, I'm as stuck as my mail box.  I simply don't get mail at all at the moment.  I hope you will have better luck than I, and if you use mods, it may be worth it to you to get one or two that will fix the issue for you.
