Stylist career issues
So I have a max level stylist for a while now. I want him to move on to the next career, but before that I want to complete his portfolio. I'm currently at 72%. I think I understand how to do that -...
@kretorrbwly Most of the tasks you list seem very situational or specific to certain sims. For example, the rebel outfit is for teenagers, and I'm guessing the junior one is for children. For engagement or newlyseds' wardrobes, you'd probably have to find a newly engaged or married sim. If no such sims exist, the jobs probably won't be available.
Your sim can also chat up another sim and eventually solicit a job, which could help with obtaining a particular task.
It's also possible that the tasks are only available to certain career levels, as happens with other types of assignments, but it's been so long since I've played a stylist that I don't remember either way. The easy test would be to use a mod to change your sim's career level and then see what's available; you could quit without saving afterwards.
@kretorrbwly I always thought that your sim could offer other types of jobs than the ones in the portfolio, but again it's been a very long time since I played that profession.
It might be better if you asked on another forum, one that has more active users than this one. Since you're willing to use mods to trigger the tasks, you could ask at NRaas: maybe someone there knows another way to open up those assignments, or at least why they'd be blocked.
