SwiftGro Gardening Station

Downloaded this to my game, but after installation the game crashed.  when I uninstalled it, the game ran fine.  Does the SwiftGro Gradening Station need an expansion pack?  Also where on the store does it tell me if I need an expansion or not?  Some items tell me that I need a certain expansion, but most don't.  thanks for the help in advance

    no the swift gro dows not need an expansion or stuff pack to use the item most of the store items can be used with just the base game installed usually ones that DO require a pack is items that involve pets 

     always checkk the items description page

    see the one for pets as an example
