Ok, if an uninstall is required I recommend Revo Uninstaller, in part because it is supposed to remove the registry entries.
Bob is right we don't want people messing with the registry.
Will Revo do the job so that they can get a good reinstall?
We need to try to keep our advice as simple as possible because we have a wide range of users.
That's why I recommend renaming the USER DATA FOLDER. It's simple and people are likely to do it. Moving it, while equally effective, is a little more complicated.
Also it really didn't help this time that the 1.50 incremental patch had a real problem.
