Thanks for the input. I sort of had in mind a programed text or check list which is why I had go to the next step. But I like your suggestions. As they say don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer.
As for my statement that moving the Sims 3 folder acts as a complete uninstall and reinstall, I believe that to be correct. I am not aware that anything you do to the game modifies the game files in Program Files that generates the User Data Folder. Thus the user data file generated should be the same file generated after an uninstall and reinstall. You should only need to uninstall and reinstall if those Program Files have been corrupted. If this is not correct I would like to know that.
